Text messages

Which texts Shopfin sends from (888) 897-1676, how people agree to get them, and how to stop them.

What we text

Shopfin, operated by Paydan Inc, sends account and service notifications for the businesses that use Shopfin and their customers. We never send marketing or promotional texts, and we never sell or share phone numbers or consent for marketing.

  • Booking confirmations, approvals, changes, cancellations and reminders.
  • New-booking alerts to the business that was booked.
  • Links to a work order to sign or an invoice to pay, when the customer asked for one.

How people agree

Texts go only to phone numbers that agreed. Each box is unticked until the person ticks it, and nobody has to agree to book or to use Shopfin.

  • Customers booking a service tick "Text me about this booking" on the booking form, beside their phone number (shown below).
  • Businesses tick "Text this phone about new bookings" beside their phone number in their Shopfin settings.
  • A business adding a customer may tick that the customer agreed to get texts about their work, only after the customer said so.
The booking form: phone number, then an unticked-by-default box reading: Text me about this booking (confirmations, changes and reminders). Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Agreeing is not required to book.
The booking form a customer fills in, with the text-message box ticked.

Stopping and help

Reply STOP to any text to stop all texts from this number, and START to get them again. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected]. Every text ends "Reply STOP to opt out." Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies with your bookings.
